1st Chakra The First Chakra is our center of physical energy and vitality. It is connected to physical reality, the center of manifestation. When one is trying to make things happen in the material world, in business or personal possessions, the energy to succeed comes from first chakra.
If one has a balanced energy of the first chakra, they are grounded, centered, healthy, and energetic, can manifest abundance and are supported by others. Indications of imbalance might include one or more of the following traits: greed, egoism, indiscriminate sexuality, depressed, fearful, weak, difficulty making money, self-destructive, can't achieve goals or receive support from others.
Glands and organs influenced are: the blood, spine, nervous system, bladder, testes and vagina.
2nd Chakra The Second Chakra is our center of friendliness, creativity, sexuality, desire and emotions. This energy governs one's self-confidence in creativity and the ability to relate to others in an open and friendly way. It is influenced by how emotions were expressed or repressed in childhood. If one has a balanced energy of the second chakra, a person can feel and know their desires and are friendly, outgoing, creative, have a healthy sex-life, a sense of humor and feelings of belonging. Indications of imbalance might include one or more of the following traits: aggressive, resentful, manipulative, caught by illusions, over-indulgent, have sexual obsessions, or shy, fearful, over-sensitive, buries emotions, inhibited, guilty or distrustful. Glands influenced are: skin, mammary glands, kidneys and female reproductive organs.
3rd Chakra The Third chakra is our center for personal power. When the third chakra is empowered, you have found your true gift, the work that gives you pleasure and makes you feel fulfilled. Yellow relates to relaxation. This chakra is the regulator of digestion. Self-confidence, happiness and warmth are signs of a balanced third chakra. Confusion, depression and worry are signs of drficiency in this area.
4th Chakra The Fourth Chakra is our center of compassion and is our most vulnerable place. When one is hurt in life or in love the first impulse is to close the heart. If one has a balanced energy at the heart chakra, one is compassionate, empathetic, sees the good in people, is in touch with their feelings, active in the community and can love and be loved. Indications of imbalance might include one or more of the following traits: over-critical, tense, possessive, martyr, feels sorry for oneself, paranoid, indecisive, afraid of getting hurt and feels unworthy of love. Glands influenced by this energy center are the heart, lungs, immune system, thymus and lymph.
5th Chakra The Fifth Chakra is communication and the energy to express our creations to others. This energy center relates to the truth within us and the ability to voice our truth. If one has a balanced energy at the throat chakra, one is content, can be fully in the present moment, has a good sense of timing, a good public speaker, musical or artistic, prolific and can speak their true feelings.

6th Chakra The 6th Chakra is the center of psychic ability and intuition. Through the power of 6th chakra you can see the truth, receive guidance, channel or know your high soul nature. If a person has a balanced energy at the third-eye, one is charismatic, has strong intuition, not attached to material things, interested in metaphysical subjects and not pre-occupied with fame or other people, but a master of their own life. Indications of imbalance might include one or more of the following traits: egomaniac, manipulative, religiously dogmatic, authoritarian, non-assertive, undisciplined, over sensitive to the feelings of others, withdrawn or schizophrenic. Glands influenced by this energy center are the pineal, pituitary, brain, ears and eyes.
7th Chakra Seventh chakra regulates and contains the global patterns of our most fundamental beliefs about ourselves, life and others. It is the 'operating system' that influences the programming contained in the six other chakras. It is the energy of enlightenment and self-realization.
If one has a balanced energy at seventh chakra one is open to a connection with the divine, can manifest material things through creative visualization, knows their own subconscious and has the potential to channel or to become a medium. Indications of imbalance might include one or more traits: Constant sense of frustration, unrealized power, destructive or self-destructive, has migraines, can't make decisions or no spark of joy for life.
